Whoopie Pies seem to be the craze of the moment, but what exactly are they??

Well it’s not quite a sandwich cookie, not quite a cake, whoopie pies are marked by two characteristics: their soft, rounded shape and a generous amount of creamy filling. The classic whoopie is a chocolate cake with a marshmallow filling. However you can make all different flavours and fillings. As seen in an episode of Masterchef Dani was making her very own Whoopie Pies. Unfortunately they burnt...if she had the chance to use a Wilton Whoopie Pie Pan then it would have saved time with piping them in neat circles and would not have burnt.
